Literary and artistic memorial evening was organized at Tashkent Institute of Finance in cooperation with the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, the National Academic Drama Theater of Uzbekistan in order to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the great Uzbek writer Abdulla Qodiriy and the 90th anniversary of well-known literary critic Ozod Sharofiddinov, promoting literacy and reading culture among young people, as well as enriching students' knowledge about the life and work of great writers.

Scientists of the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, Doctor of Philology, Professor Uzak Jurakulov and Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Shermukhammad Aminov and actress of the National Academic Drama Theater Malika Ibragimova, the head of the chair of the Uzbek and Russian languages Nishonboy Khusanov, members of this department, as well as students of the Finance, Credit, State Budget Funds and Treasury Department and their coaches took part in the literary and memorial evening. The event was very interesting and meaningful.
